Black and White Clay

These clay collages contain paper clay (white), and stoneware which appears brown. After it has been fired though, it will turn black. In some of my recent blog posts I have posted black and white paper collages which I hope to combine to make sculptures very similar to those that I posted on 13th August. I love the idea of being able to combine two different coloured clays by pressing one [dry] layer into another [wet] layer.
